InfinityWard founders Jason West and Vince Zampella have filed a lawsuit against Activision.

After Activision laying them off, Former studio heads have filed a lawsuit claiming breach of contract, It has been alleged that the firm was scheduled to pay the pair “substantial royalty payments” prior to their dismissal.

Attorney Robert Schwartz said: “Instead of thanking, lauding, or just plain paying Jason and Vince for giving Activision the most successful entertainment product ever offered to the public, last month Activision hired lawyers to conduct a pretextual ‘investigation’ into unstated and unsubstantiated charges of ‘insubordination’ and ‘breach of fiduciary duty,’ which then became the grounds for their termination on Monday, March 2.”

In addition to compensation the duo seek to gain the rights to the Modern Warfare series.
